Angel V. Poynter
Angel V. Poynter is originally from West Chester, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to forming Poynter Law Firm, LLC, Angel was an Associate Attorney at Wildman & Associates, LLC, a general practice firm in London, Ohio (Madison County). There she handled a wide array of different and unique civil lawsuits with highly unusual fact patterns. Angel also handled personal injury cases, partition actions, attorney malpractice defense, divorces, dissolutions, and child custody cases. She formed business entities and advised small businesses.
Angel is a self-starter who has had a remarkable amount of different legal experiences, which enable her to zealously and competently represent her clients in the areas of law that demand broad knowledge, such as business law and divorces. She worked for a probate, trust, and estate planner for nearly 2 years. Concurrently, she worked for a personal injury and class action firm downtown. Angel has experience as a mediator, and an in-house corporate counsel extern for a large insurance company. Prior to those positions, she was a law clerk for a Judge in the Franklin County Domestic Relations Court. In law school, Angel was a licensed legal intern who had her own case load of clients that she assisted with divorces, estate planning, evictions, and guardian ad litem work. Angel even helped start the law school's small business entity clinic which formed business and advised future business owners on Ohio law.
When Angel is not practicing law, she enjoys working out, dancing, sewing, making jewelry, roller skating, and traveling. During law school, Angel played Roller Derby; she was a Jammer for the Ohio Roller Girls. She has since retired to devote her time and attention to helping others.
